Emmanuel Larbi, a Senior Research Scientist at the Oil Palm Research Institute of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of Ghana, has about 11 years of progressive professional experience in natural resources management in Ghana, West Africa: research experience in Agricultural Research Institute. He is an innovative and result-oriented researcher, project manager, coordinator and trainer; capable of multi-tasking well organized. He has high personal integrity and has worked effectively with a broad range of actors irrespective of status, culture, gender or religious differences. I have ability to foster outcomes and impacts from scientific research.  He has a vast experience in training in Oil Palm.  Under Ghana Skills and Technology Development Project (GSTP)/Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COTVET) he has trained Managers of the Major plantations in Oil Palm Cultivation and Management. As an experienced scientist, he has trained several technicians, students and some industry players in the application of modern and sustainable oil palm production techniques.

Emmanuel Larbi has authored and co-authoured several scientific publications comprising refereed journal papers, conference papers, production guides, technical reports and manuals-most of which have been published in local and international journals.

Emmanuel Larbi is currently the chairman for CSIR- OPRI School Management Board. He is married with children
