Overview

The Accounts Division is one of the supporting divisions of the Institute. It is charged with the responsibility for safeguarding the assets of the Institutes. This requires that the Accounts Division to liaise with other Divisions to ensure that resources, both human and materials are available and effectively used. The Division comprises stores, cash office, salaries, procurement, and final accounts unit.

The functions of the Accounts division could be summarized as follows:

• Budget coordination
• Procurement and stores Management
• Fund management- Receipts and payments (GoG, Donor and IGF)
• Production of management and statutory reports
• Liaises with both internal and external auditors in their investigations
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset register
• Payroll Management
• Management of Accounts Payables and Account Receivables
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and Internal Controls
